I have a Chevy Cavalier. My son is almost a year and around 22lb. I really don’t want to spend more than $175.http://www.target.com/Combi-Coccoro-Conv…http://www.target.com/Britax-Roundabout-…http://www.target.com/Graco-My-Ride-Car-…
OR any other suggestions?
THANK YOU

The only one I could recommend is the My Ride, there’s really little point buying a car seat that doesn’t allow at least 65lbs with the internal harness (forward facing). Rear-facing until 40lbs is also really good.
They may soon change the laws to require rear-facing until 2 years of age, and its generally not advisable to use a booster until about age 6 because the child has to be responsible enough to sit properly
There are plenty of other seats which use the harness for 65lbs, but I’m in Canada so I can only get a fraction of them so I don’t really have a list for you
I really recommend the forum on here:http://www.car-seat.org/index.php
This is somewhat helpful for determining which seats are most likely to fit your car:http://www.carseatdata.org/
I have the garco one and I really like it, we used it for my daughter when she was smaller, and it was a great car-seat. The best one however, I have found is a jeep one. My son uses a booster from them and my 2 month old has one too. I really like the way they feel sturdy and they last forever! They tend to be a bit more expensive, not too much but a little more. However, the garco one is really nice too!
do NOT get the eddie B one… i have it and i HATE IT…
britax is good and so is my ride…
i think if i could do over again, i would get a My ride
Britax is usally good but in this case the graco my ride 65 you have picked rear faces longer AND harnesses longer so i would choose that.
I recommend the Graco My Ride 65. I have a 99 cavalier and it fits perfectly rear-facing in the middle seat.
Britax has the best safety rating. The cow is awful, but a decent trade off for a safe seat I suppose.
It is no question at all Eddie Bauer! Best in comfort and safety for you child!
