I’m not sure exactly what she did on or how she did it but she did it somehow. It’s not bleeding anymore and the vet’s office is closed so I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to take her but not if I can buy something on my own to clean it up and keep her from chewing on it. She’s still a puppy and she’ll be a year old in November. I posted a picture below and I know it’s not 100% clear but it’ll give you an idea. It’s behind the nail, that whole redish looking area towards the bottom.
What do you think? What can I use to keep her from chewing it?

Elizabethan Collar. The little cone collars to slip over her head should help. Pretty sure they sell them at petco or pet smart.
Clean it with peroxide and then put some neosporin on it. Then wrap it if you don’t have a cone for her head.
Watch carefully so that she doesn’t tear it off.
cones would work fine. you can also put a little bit of superglue or a liquid bandage on the actual wound to keep it from getting worse-you should be able to find something like that in the pet aisle of just about any store, usually by the cleaners/generic flea killer stuff.
Your dog probably has fleas.
