Problem With Bitcomet Halted Download Because Of Error In Windows?

hello
i was downloading a 10gb torrent and i was at 80% when an unexpected electricity failure occurs and after electricity went back i was not able to log in windows because of some error
then i reinstalled a new copy of xp but now i lost the progress in my download on my old windows but i still have the files and i still have the old bitcomet and old temp because i installed the new windows in different partion so my old windows/files and downloading path did not wipe
i’m asking if there a way to resume this halted download in my old windows in my new windows please if there anyway someone tell
