how do i stop pictures from intermittently coming across my screen

I have a laptop with a 64bit processor and a 64bit Windows 7 that came with it when I bought it.
Now I uninstalled a lot of crap and must have uninstalled one too many applications…I can’t run the Chrome browser anymore, I think it’s because it has a 32bit build, as opposed to my 64bit system.
I’m trying to avoid doing a factory reset and having to install every program, so I would like to find out if I can download the file/program I’m missing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sunday evening… (this week) i slept….then i started to dream…..as far as i can remember when i woke up from that weird dream was that
me and my best friend(his a boy btw) was somewhere in college (im a 3rd yr HS student btw) then we were both walking in the campus (i dont remember what campus/i dont even know the school we were attending) suddenly guys from behind got us and tied the two of us….then we arrived in a dark room lit by the sun from a small window….then the two of us were “bullied” (dunno what term to use here) its like were ganged up and beaten up….like in frats initiation ….but we didnt join any of this frats though in my dream….then my friend was severely wounded also me…. and one guy…took a broken chair…with a rusty nail exposed…and was to throw it to my best friend….i suddenly pushed him and took that blow from the chair….and i died eventually….after my death in that scene i woke up ……then i didn’t mind it at all….but the next day i dont know why but it started to bother me….
anyone knows what my dream means? some says if you die in your dream its a good symbol like having a good life…but what if its protecting my friend?

it will say Firefox has stopped working for almost

i lost my balance whilst glossing my bathroom window and dropped a tin of gloss down the toilet….. i tried wiping it away with tissue but there is still loads all around the bowl and more at the bottom where the water sits. any ideas how i can clean it without damaging anything especially the water?

Okay so my computer caught the windows recovery virus around Friday last week. My dad spent Saturday and part of Sunday repairing it back to normal (he’s good with computers.)
Anyways, my computer is now back to normal, but I have a small problem. I cannot set my desktop background at all. I went to the control panel and I placed the picture as “set desktop background,” but it never changes to the picture I want it to.
Anyone who is good at computer and can solve my problem, then you get ten points best answer. Please help. I’m tired of looking at the desktop background that I have.
p.s. I don’t want to bother my dad about it since I don’t live with him and I don’t want him to have to fix any more problems on my Laptop. That’s why I ask this question on Yahoo Answers.

it can be done through group policy go to run and type gpedit.msc
You will see the Group Policy window. You should select Administrative Templates \ System in the tree view:
You will see an item in the right side pane called “Turn off Autoplay”
Double click the item, and set the radio button to Enabled, and change the “Turn off Autoplay on” to All Drives.
