Need To Reinstall Windows, Found The Cd But Its Not Got It Case So No Product Key, How Will I Find It?

I previously asked if i could get a windows cd from somewhere, however i found my windows xp cd, but it hasn’t got its box anymore so i don’t know the product key thing to install it with. How do i go about finding out this product code thingy to install windows xp? XD (i fail much)

    Check your computers case, sometimes they stick the product key to the side or underneath if its a laptop.
    If you cant find it download a application called magic jellybean keyfinder it will tell you the product key of any installed applications

    A product called Magic Jelly Bean can extract the key but you will need to use another computer.

    Have a look online for a windows xp activator, or even a WAT remover.
    You can use it to completely legitimatise your window, without a code needed.

    is the product key on the pc itself?
    if not and you can still get into windows download and run a free app called belarc this will tell you your current key

    You can find out the product key on an existing Windows install in several ways, but probably the best is to run a utility like Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder (see below). If Windows came preinstalled on the machine it may also be on a sticker somewhere on the case.

    It’s not ’sometimes’ on the case – it should be always on the case, by law.
    It’s mostly underneath on a laptop, which is a bit silly because it does get worn off sometimes
