My Computer Is Opening Everything With Microsoft Word, Ie, Norton, Everything And Its Not Working Right Help!!?

So im not sure how I did this but my computer is now trying to open everything in microsoft word. All of my icons on my desktop have changed to a microsoft word document, for example instead of internet explorer being the “E” symbol its now a microsoft word document symbol and when you click on it, it opens up word not the internet, its done it for all of my programs!! I dont know what to do! I need to fix it before my husband comes home! Im on his computer because mine wont open up anything at all because it opens it all up in microsoft word!
