so i wanna know, cuz my friend and i are learning to be haxors and he said that we need to do sum programing if we want to get good. but he has a mac and i have a pc (LINUX!!!!!!!!!) and i want to need to know what i should learn first to hack systems all over the place. thanks!

The pc version of java? What does that mean? The pc version of java is java. C++ is the pc version of C++. And C++ is the mac version of C++.
Edit: I know they are not the same. But no, they are not os specific. I don’t need to look it up, as I write applications in both C++ and Java. And when I designate them to, my applications run on both pc’s(running both windows and linux) and macs.
My point was that C++ is not a replacement for Java, and Java is certainly not a replacement for C++. If you want a cross platform application, you do not need to switch languages.
@modulo
It’s dumass, get it right.
C++ was created on Unix machines about 30 years ago, so no it’s not the PC version of anything. Linux ships with a C++ compiler, by the way, and both Linux and the Java virtual machine are written in C++’s predecessor, C.
From the sound of you, you roughly as much chance of hacking ANYTHING as I have of doing a successful brain surgery.
dumass oops is correct.
Java and C++ are 2 different programming languages. They both can be used on a Mac, Linux, Windows, and a variety of other operating systems.
HTH
Another dumass.
I was going to post a nice, cute response like
Heavens no.
but then I saw from the wording of your question that you are a nitwit. You might someday have to support yourself and will regret not having paid more attention to school and less to being cool.
signed,
another dumbass
Spend about 5 years learning c++, then maybe you’ll have enough skill to be a 1337 h4X0r.
