I Want To Go To Boarding School!!?

I really want to attend boarding school.
My parents are divorced. I live with my dad. He’s a waiter, and my mom doesn’t contribute any money into raising me. So, we aren’t very wealthy. I think it’d be easiest to go to school in the U.S. considering I live there, but I travel frequently and wouldn’t mind anywhere else. School wise, I don’t do that well. I’m not a straight A student. Or even a straight A B student.
I’m a girl going into the 10th grade. I HATE public school. My dad went to a boarding school, Culver, but not by choice. I’d really like to go to a coed boarding school. I excel in all types of arts, so an art institute would also be good, but not necessary. I really really want this, but don’t know how to bring it up. My dad is really protective, and attached. He wants to be apart of my childhood REALLY bad, but I want to go off to boarding school. ANY HELP? School suggestions? Money tips? Tips in general? Packing ideas? Anything???
