Firefox And Ie Freeze With Videos?

Every time I attempt to view a video on YouTube or any other video site, my internet browser, whether it be Firefox or Internet Explorer, freezes. It freezes to the point where I have to bring up the task manager and end the program through there. I can’t even close the window by normally clicking the x in the top right hand corner. After the window closes, an error message reads:
Firefox plugin has stopped working
Can anyone help me out?

you may not have the latest version of Flash, try downloading from the macromedia site the latest version,
if you do have the latest version then goto tools in IE , internet options, advanced tabs and reset advanced settings , that may do the trick.

You might want to update your addons. For firefox, click tools->Addons->find updates at the bottom right. Do this for both extensions and plug-ins tab.
