I’m doing a Grade 10 Assignment on the book “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck. I’m extremely wise when it comes to things to do with literature and I’m also quite intellectual when I go about doing things. However, I’ve been a slacker and spent too much time off school and browsing 4chan. I usually get an A for my Assignments, and I just want to get this thoroughly done for 100%.
It’s 12:00 am and it’s due tomorrow, normally I wouldn’t need help, but well, I do now. I’ve had to select two questions and write a response 300 – 400 words. I can do these, but I need some ideas and opinions on what areas to explore when it comes to it, what kind of things I can use to make it sound more intellectual. Any specific things I can make references to?
First question, I’ll update with link to a second question once I get best answer.
“You are the director of a new movie version of the film Of Mice and Men. Which actors would you select to play the parts of the characters featured in the novel? Explain your choices.”
Tell me what you think would be a good place to start, get me into a frame of mind where I can identify what I’m looking for.

First, find descriptions of the characters’ physical appearance (including age, type of voice), and try to find actors who will match that. Obviously, for the most part, the men shouldn’t be too fat or even massively muscular because they didn’t eat particularly well.
Second, think about how you would describe the personalities, and think of actors who could depict that convincingly – Curly’s wife is (in my opinion) a really shallow little tart, so I wouldn’t pick an actress who seemed smart and kind (unless it was someone who I knew could play that kind of character).
