I was going to say mediacoder but I am not too sure about this from your description. it sounds like you are doing chroma keying, where one particular color becomes invisible so a background video can show through.
you didn’t say video. the kinds of things you want are offered mainly by programs like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
sorry. the free programs only do simple text stuff. so… how do you intend to do a background on a fully opaque video without using a professional video editor and some sort of effects plugin and either alpha or some sort of chroma key?
chroma keying “green screen” usually requires a professional to do it right or a lot of processing. but it is doable. check out the adobe training on tv.adobe.com
