At this point I believe I am two weeks late for my period. Two weeks ago I wiped and there was some brown discharge. However, since then I have had no bleeding at all. Just the one time I wiped. I feel like I am on my period, but there is only clear discharge. In addition, I am a little more tired than usual, I have had some constipation, my nipples are a tad more sensitive, and I have been having more headaches than usual. I took a pregnacy test and it came back negative. I have been pregnant before but I did not have any spotting and the only sign I had was tiredness. However, I was 8 weeks pregnant before I recieved a positive result on a pregnancy test. I am very confused because I do not remember much of the symptoms from the last time. We have been trying to concieve for the past year and a half. I do not want to get too excited, but am wondering if the outlook is good this time.

I know most people are saying you should see your doctor, and you should, but…to answer your question which I don’t think anyone has, yes, those are normal signs of pregnancy. Your period is 2 weeks late = sign of pregnancy, (this next one is important) around the time you expected your period you wiped and had “brown discharge”, this most likely wasn’t discharge, was likely implantation bleeding which occurs around the time of your expected period, implantation bleeding is when the fertilized egg (future baby) implants itself (buries into the uterine wall) to your uterus which can cause slight bleeding but usually by the time the blood goes from the uterus wall and makes it down to your vagina it’s either a light pink or brownish color because it’s not fresh blood. The clear discharge is normal, when you are pregnant you have an increased amount of discharge. Being tired, constipated, sensitive breast/nipples, and headaches are all normal and very common symptoms/signs of pregnancy. As for the negative pregnancy result it depends on when you took the test. It’s very common for women to test too early, especially when she really wants to be pregnant and doesn’t want to wait to take a test. If you have ever seen the show “I didn’t know I was pregnant” you can see some women take tests and get negative results even late in pregnancy. It really depends on the type of test you use and how high your hormone level is. I always use the EPT brand test and they have always been accurate for me. You can buy a box with a couple pregnancy tests and just take one every couple days, follow all the directions, and sometimes it does help to use it first thing in the morning when your hormone level is at its highest. Good luck, I hope you see a positive sign soon!
Sounds like pregnancy is a possibility, but of course they is quite a few different reasons why periods can be late/missed etc. Since you said you didn’t get a positive result till 8 weeks with your last pregnancy I’d go to your doctor and get a blood test
, since they are much more accurate.
.
Good luck, I hope your pregnant
I agree with Sunnyside Up. Don’t get too worked up over it. If you don’t want to go into the doctor because of expenses, just take a test every few weeks. It might take a little while for the hCG to actually show up. It gets easier to detect the further along you are.
This may not be what you wanna hear since your anxious, but sometimes you just have to wait. Its all worth it in the end!
Any of those symptoms can be from anything else and they can also be brought on from anxiety over wanting to be pregnant. Just go with the flow of things and every 2 weeks get a home pg test kit and test. If you are it will tell you and until then don’t fret it.
