Why would Germany invade because of Northern Ireland? Even if they did care, the overwhelming majority of people in Northern Ireland want to stay part of the United Kingdom and I don’t think you can compare the holocaust and destruction Nazi German inflicted across Europe with Northern Ireland being governed by the United Kingdom (with NI Representatives in Parliament) and with the consent of the majority of the population of NI.
The UK government would love to concede control of NI to the Republic but they don’t want it – expensive and troublesome.
I can sympathise with the Germans objecting to the carpet bombing of their Cities by the USAF and RAF though. Much of the destruction such as in Dresden was cause when the end of the war was only weeks away and so unnecessary.

So the Second World War was a war of liberation?
Tabloids sneer it is what they do to provoke their readership to spit their toast out in shock and the only way they can keep their readership.
EDIT: Berlin was not considerably damaged or decimated in 1940 – Goebbels, in his diaries, admits that the effects and casualties caused by the RAF attack was exaggerated for propaganda purposes and as an excuse to launch consistent attacks on civilian targets.

They sneer because the process of detroying German cities came about by accident.
During a standard bombing run (targeting radar, airfields, etc) one bomber got lost and accidently dropped it’s bombs on London. There was outcry that the Germans had started attacking the capital, so the RAF were ordered to decimate Berlin. They caused considerable damage, and so Hitler seeked revenge and attacked London, as well as cities of military (Coventry, Liverpool), naval (Plymouth, Portsmouth), and sometimes historical importance (York, Bath, Stratford-upon-avon).
The Germans see the carpet-bombing technique as being started by accident, and the RAF and USAF took it too far.
