   The settings for your account configuration are for y7mail accounts:
   pop.y7mail.com, & smtp.y7mail.com use the incoming server number 25 & outgoing server for mail as 465 or 995. If that doesn’t work use 110 as the standard outgoing server id number.
   For a rocketmail, ymail.com, or yahoo.com.au, or yahoo.com the settings are as follows:
   pop.mail.yahoo.com.au, or smtp.mail.yahoo.com.au, or pop.mail.yahoo.com, or smtp.mail.yahoo.com, depending if you have a yahoo.com.au email address or a yahoo.com address. Use the above same numbers for incoming & outgoing mail servers.
   To answer your question about smtp, it is the outgoing mail server for when emails are sent from your account. Pop (Post office protocol) is the incoming mail server handling all the emails coming into your inbox or mailbox!
