32 Bit And 64 Bit Oss?

By WinPie Posted in: windows

I’m looking to dual boot my 64 bit Windows 7 computer with Windows XP.
I know the procedure to do this :P
My only question is that the Windows XP I have is written for 32 bit. Should I go look for a 64 bit XP or is it ok for me to install the 32 bit XP?

Are you sure your computer is 64-bit, since most computers have only become 64-bit since late 2008. If it is 64-bit, you should be fine with a 32-bit version of Windows XP (in fact, don’t use Win XP x64 since it has some compatibility issues).

It’s completely okay, they are two seep rate operating systems so they wouldn’t have any issues with themselves. It’d work fine.
