hello i am having a problem there’s this thing that keeps opening in my processes called wmpnetwk.exe and it takes up a lot of memory and when i click end process and it goes away it comes back a couple minutes later how can i keep it closed

I had been using the 2010 beta version of Office, and it converted all of my notebooks up to 2010. Now that I’ve uninstalled it, my 2007 version won’t read them, and I can’t find something that will change them back. Is it possible to change them without buying Office 2010?
